That I will no longer be able to attend Book Bash in Florida this June. :(
I truly hate pulling out of events that i've committed too. I feel awful about it, but sometimes these events are hard to plan for. We tend to commit to them sometimes a year in advance, and there's just no saying what will be going on in our lives when it finally comes around. I try my best to accommodate and make sure that I can attend everything i've said I will attend, but sometimes I simply can't.
This is one of those times.
My son has a baseball tournament that weekend, I'm under huge writing deadlines and if I'm not writing, then i'm not putting out any new books. And if i'm not putting out any new books, then it's really hard for me to make a living as a writer. As much as I love these signings (and trust me, I do)- I find it very hard to find the time to plan for them, and write effectively. It's a fine line and the balance sometimes eludes me.
Anyway, I'm sorry that I won't be there. So, so sorry.
BUT, I am working on putting up a page where you can order signed books from me and that will go live on this site in the next few weeks *fingers crossed*... I know it doesn't make up for it, but it maybe helps?
I hope you understand and I know you'll still have a great time. There are so many wonderful authors attending and the event itself is truly awesome. Have a great time, and i'm sorry to miss you!
